Protecting the Rights of Consumers For Over 25 Years

On August 16, 2022 the Attorneys General of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Utah, Washington, Oregon and the District of Columbia filed suit against Mariner Finance, alleging that the company  is engaged in a nationwide scheme that takes advantage of low- and moderate-income consumers, pursuant to which it adds costly insurance policies and other products to loans without the knowledge of borrowers and deceptively induces them to refinance their debts to generate fees for the company.
